Controversy of Feminism.

FEMINISM has become the most unpopular and misunderstood word that I suppose is to be the most dismayed concern of today’s society.

EQUITY. There could be no other best glossary for feminism. As the word suggests it might mean to work for women’s rights but I better disagree with it. I would rather say we have to work for equality of all the existing genders for each of them are being suffered in one or the other way out.

My gender-based assumptions began when I started to question why ‘Chutki’ hadn’t joined for the fight with ‘Chotta bheem’ while little ‘Raju’ offered his best! (No offence dear Bheem!) The differences get cultivated from here.

There are days I kept wondering why society was least considered or bothered about my father’s role in the upbringing of his child and burdening my mum with responsibilities while I equally cherish their importance in my life.

When you’ve gone to meet your friend’s infant you’ve bought an armed tank toy(or racing car)if it was a boy baby and a mini-cookware set (or barbie dolls) if otherwise. Don’t lie, you’ve done this. Equity destruction starts from here, persuading that little infant to believe he loves racing cars and bringing him up cultivating he is not supposed to open his emotions so quickly.

Equity kick starts from the destruction of segregation of emotions. You might wonder while there are so many security and safety issues women face which are supposed to be the day’s talk and why is this random kid talking about equality of emotions?

THIS MATTERS TOO! I believe if Equity is attained everything might be self-corrected. It starts from my actions and those around me. Time’s changing too fast, It’s time we change too.

The world is in dire need of FEMINISTS. It’s time we all declare ourselves supporters of equality hence introducing oneself as a Feminist. This might make the world a better place to live for everybody.

Thank you for not quitting.
